Welcome to Paradise!

Ft Myers Beach

Fort Myers Beach is a 6.000-citizen town turned into a spectacular tourist attraction on an island that stretches ten miles along the Gulf of Mexico. Like in no other populated area in South Florida, access to nature and wildlife is very easy. Best way to get there and experience great attractions, white beaches and lots of fun is by water-taxi from nearby Cape Coral.

Drive your car to The Westin Cape Coral Resort At Marina Village, 5951 Silver King Boulevard where the journey starts. But before make your reservation at the office of Captain Kelly Tolbert, Harbour Master at Tarpon Point Marina, by phone (239) 549 4900 or email: ktolbert@tarponpoint.com.

The round trip to Fort Myers Beach and back costs 25 $ and is worth every penny.
As soon as you’ve made your plans hurry up. The hotel offers this splendid boat trip complimentary to registered guests and only about a dozen seats are otherwise available.
The water-taxi runs seven days a week on a convenient schedule from the Tarpon Point Marina.

From Resort to Beach:

Boards 9:45 AM

Departs 10:00 AM

Arrives 11:00 AM

Captain Kelly himself will steer the boat on shortest way to the Gulf of Mexico via the Caloosahatchee River.
In fact the trip is a double boating experience. The first leg goes slowly through an impressive Florida wildlife scenery. The islands nearby are full of fresh water sources, so you can easily watch flocks of birds migrate across land and sea.
When the taxi reaches the waters of the Gulf Captain Kelly will advise you to hold your favorite caps/hats unless the wind will carry them off. The water taxi develops a speed no one on board would expect. Slow under the new bridge to Sanibal island and then on full speed again it rushes towards Fort Myers Beach. The last mile offers a great chance to meet dolphins jumping out of the water or simply coming out for a fresh gasp of air.

The boat docks on Fort Myers Beach at Nervous Nellie’s Restaurant.

Now you have more than three hours time for walking the beaches, searching the shops and looking for shade in one of the numerous picturesque restaurants.
Return time may vary depending on the weather. The Captain will let you know before you leave the boat when to return for departure.

Regular schedule:

From Beach to Resort

Boards 2:15 PM

Departs 2:30 PM

Arrives 3:30 PM

Stepping out from the water taxi you will agree: Another day in paradise!
